We don’t realize our impact

We think it’s all our gain

We must face the reality

We share our planets pain

So let’s make the WORLD clean again

The Issue at Hand
We as college students have noticed the lack of participation in recycling among our campus.  Programs based on the success of other college campuses should be implemented on all campuses to increase recycling across the nation.
What can be recycled?​

  • Aluminum

  • Glass

  • Paper

  • Newspaper

  • Batteries*

  • Electronics*

  • Magazines

  • Cardboard

  • Plastics

What cannot be recycled?​

  • Dyed paper

  • Plastic grocery bags*

  • Mirror glass

  • Crystal

  • Ceramics

  • Lightbulbs

  • Pizza boxes

  • Clothes

  • Food

*Batteries, electronics and plastic grocery bags have to go to specialized recycling centers
